STAR WARS Zero Company Builds
The strongest builds come from pairing an Operator’s unique talent with a Specialization role, then using later second-Specialization access to cover weaknesses or amplify strengths.
How builds work
A build is more than a weapon choice. Operators combine talents, a primary Specialization, gear, utilities, and later a second Specialization. Points can be refunded and Specializations can be changed, so the system encourages experimentation rather than punishing an early choice forever.
Build around a battlefield job
The eight standard Specializations cover different needs. A Heavy can anchor the front line, a Scout can help generate Advantage, Soldiers provide flexible offense, Sharpshooters emphasize ranged pressure, and Medics support squad survival. The best combination depends on what the other three Operators already contribute.
Use second Specializations to create synergy
Later progression allows two Specializations on eligible characters. That opens combinations such as adding durability to an aggressive Operator, adding Scout utility to a character who benefits from Advantage, or giving a ranged specialist a secondary tree that improves team support.
Team-comp examples from the verified material
The available build material includes squad concepts such as Heavy + Scout + Soldier + Soldier and Droid + Sharpshooter + Assault + Soldier. These are examples, not mandatory templates. Their value comes from role coverage: protection, resource generation, burst damage, and support working together.
A simple build checklist
- Start with the Operator's unique talent and intended job.
- Make sure the squad has a way to survive mistakes and recover.
- Include a plan for generating and spending Advantage.
- Avoid stacking four Operators that all need the same resources to function.
- Revisit the build after second Specializations become available.
