STAR WARS Zero Company Missions
The campaign mixes Critical story missions with optional Tactical Missions and non-combat Operations, all managed through The Den and Galaxy Map.
Critical Missions
Critical Missions advance the largely linear main story. They are the campaign anchors, while other opportunities appear around them and can help the squad prepare before the next major story step.
Tactical Missions
Tactical Missions are the turn-based combat layer. You deploy a squad to complete an objective using cover, flanking, Overwatch, three Action Points per Operator, utilities, abilities, and the shared Advantage resource. Story missions can also include a short third-person exploration phase before combat.
Operations
Operations are non-combat assignments on the Galaxy Map. They can provide immediate rewards, unlock more work, add narrative context, or present choices that affect Bonds and side content. They compete for time with Tactical Missions, so not every opportunity can be completed in one campaign.
The cycle structure
Each cycle presents a set of available work at The Den's Holotable. Some opportunities expire, while story-critical missions eventually become obligatory. That creates a strategic tradeoff between chasing resources, improving influence, and advancing the main plot.
Campaign scale
The validated official research references more than 150 planets on the Galaxy Map and more than 12 unique planets used for Tactical Missions. Those numbers describe the strategic map and mission locations, not a claim that every planet contains a full tactical battlefield.
